The Inevitable Object Registry was founded in 2010 by Zachary Reese and Chad Clikeman out of an overwhelming desire to make things. Things that, hopefully, you will enjoy. We imagine ourselves as somewhere between a record label, a publishing imprint and an artist collective. Everything that you find here is something that we are proud of.

Zachary Reese

Bear & Walrus, Church of the Undying Bloop, The Gallows Bird, William Segunda Family Band

Zachary is a new media artist and writer from Philadelphia. He attended Maine College of Art and has an overwhelming passion for advances at the intersection of art and technology.  He’s written books and articles and stuff. Mostly about video games and/or maternal dependency.

Zachary’s musical background is in pop and folk style song-writing as well as audio engineering and studio production.  He cut his chops writing Top 40 hits for groups such as The Milkjangles, Choochoo & Kaboose, We Pay Cash For Diabetic Testing Strips, as well as popular Brazilian boy-band Murderpants Five.  I may have made up a few of those bands.  Writing your own bio is like filling out a resume.  You’ve got to embellish a little and sell yourself.  Keep your feet on the ground but reach for the stars, y’know?  Oh, and also:  Zachary is very handsome and enjoys pinball.

Chad Clikeman

Chad Clikeman is a graduate of Maryland Institute College of Art and a practicing graphic designer. He has a background in classical piano, game design and painting. He currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland with his girlfriend and dumb cat.  Seriously, that cat just sits there and doesn’t do anything.  What’s the point of having a pet that just sits there?  He should get a dog instead.  Dogs are playful and great.  If you ever see Chad, like, when you’re walking around or something, run up to him and scream “YOUR CAT IS STUPID.”  If enough people do that, eventually it might sink in.  Also, I don’t think he’s ever going to look at this bio even though I asked him to proofread it.  So instances of strangers eternally yelling at him about his cat will be his punishment for that.

Ryan Clikeman studied classical piano at Susqahanna University. He currently works as a chef in Philadelphia and moonlights as a private music instructor.  He is terrible at using the ninja rope in Worms.  Honestly, completely terrible.

Ethan McCreadie: William Segunda Family Band

Ethan studied at Oberlin College’s Conservatory of Music before moving on to get his degree in electrical engineering.  He lives in Philadelphia and works as a software developer. He is colorblind and that is a weakness he will never be able to overcome.
