Lake Poems

“Five years have passed; five summers, with the length of five long winters!”

Bear & Walrus’ debut album Lake Poems is the end result of twenty-eight straight days of writing and recording, a body of work created exclusively during the month of February. Inspired by nineteenth century poetry about love, nature, beauty and death, Lake Poems is a collage of chiptune elements and baroque instruments.

Lake Poems is available both as a physical package and as a digital download. The physical package was produced in an edition of twenty-eight with packaging designed by the band. It features a fold out lyrics sheet, hand stamped compact disc and a letterpressed case with hand watercoloring.
